A small, Lucknow-based label bringing hand-embroidered chikankari straight from the workshop to you.
Weave of Lucknow was started in Lucknow in 2025 by Garima, to bridge the gap between the people who wear chikankari and the artisans who make it.
Today the market is dominated by cheap, machine-made substitutes, and genuine hand embroidery is slowly disappearing. The finest chikankari in the country is still made in Lucknow's homes and small workshops, yet most of the credit and margin goes to large resellers far from the artisans themselves.

So we work directly with local karigars to bring their work to you, without the markup of a long supply chain.
Every kurti, kurta set, saree, top and unstitched dress material in our collection is hand-embroidered using traditional Lucknowi techniques — on cottons, georgettes, rayons, chanderis and muslins chosen to suit each design. Nothing is machine-embroidered or printed to imitate the look of chikan.
We're a small team, which is why every order is currently confirmed personally over WhatsApp rather than through automated checkout — it lets us answer sizing questions directly and keep an eye on quality before anything ships.
